Library donors signed their names to the last steel beam before it was placed on Fontana’s new library on Friday.

The $60 million, 93,000-square-foot Lewis Library and Technology Center is set to open next year.

It is the largest civic project in Fontana and will be the largest regional library in the San Bernardino County system.
