Wiener and his fmaily own and operate a very successful group of real estate development and management companies in Fontana - DW Development, Inc. and M4 Management, Inc.

"I am a developer here in Fontana, [and] I realize that for a county to survive and compete globablly with other countries it must have educated children," Wiener sai. "We can lose our positions, our cares, [and] our homes - everything in life we can lose - except what is in our minds."

Wiener's first donation of $60,000 was given to the Fontana Library Foundation in honor of two friends - former City of Fontana Mayor Nat Simon and former City of Fontana Treasurer and City Council Member Charles Koehler.

"They were very sincere in trying to promote the City," Wiener said. "I wanted to remember them for that."

Another donation of $40,000 was given as a general donation to support the construction and equipment of the Lewis Library and Technology Center.

"We are grateful to Mr. Wiener for his generous support of the Lewis Library and Technology Center, and for his obvious comitment and devotion to the City of Fontana," said Mayor Mark Nuaimi.
